Our Leadership

The local church, as described in the New Testament, was always led by a team of elders (also known as pastors, overseers, or shepherds). Redeemer functions in the same way, with a team of elders who work together to lead the church. This structure provides accountability, protection, shared burden, and shared teaching responsibilities, among other things. The Pastor on staff with Redeemer Church and our main teaching pastor is Brian Agovino.

Brian grew up in New York before moving to St. Louis.  He met his wife of 12 years at Tulsa University.  After spending five years in college ministry, he and his wife, and now 3 daughters moved back to St. Louis to be involved with church planting.  

Brian spends the bulk of his time teaching, developing leadership,  and providing counsel for our church family. Each week, Brian shares a message God has laid on his heart to challenge, rebuke and encourage each of us to walk closer with Jesus and stay on mission by engaging our culture and community with the Gospel.
